To pick up where I left off on my previous post, there is almost no way that I myself will go, "check out the latest video/website" or, "read this guys blog", without doing an all out search of its history, reason for attention and why somebody (I know or don't know) basically said to check it out.
If somebody spent their whole life in a happy, pure environment with positive surroundings and logical morales, they wouldn't last one single day on the internet. A sweet young person (I'll say in his/her mid twenties) would go on the internet. They have never done anything bad their entire life. They have never seen anything as bad as what is the norm by thousands of standards. I would imagine a problem arising like this:
Wakes up, gets out of bed early, gets cleaned, dressed, eats cereal, goes to salvation army to donate old clothes, gives fifty dollars to a homeless person across from his/her building, calls every relative to say he/she loves them, goes out to the store, buys ice cream for every child lined up in-front of the ice cream truck around the store, buys lottery ticket, wins the lottery, gives most of the winnings to charities, family and friends and purchases new drapes. Goes to an electronics store, buys a desktop, goes home hooks it up and creates an email account.
That person then later receives a pop up. That person clicks on that pop up.
A week later that person jumps off a bridge.
Basically, the point of that little tale is to simply avoid anything you don't know and don't trust anybody, anywhere on the internet.
On a side note, if you have heard of a fan fiction named cupcakes, don't read it. Don't even search it up for results.
If you have read it, I am so sorry if you are now.... bothered. : /
